June 23, 2010 | 11 a.m. to 12 noon CT | CLE credit
On January 1, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development began requiring use of the new Good Faith Estimate and HUD-1 Settlement Statement for all residential real estate loans. Now, six months later, many questions remain about these new forms. What fees, for instance, should be disclosed on the GFE? What is a tolerance violation, and who’s responsible for correcting it? Where are the title fees disclosed on the HUD-1? How must buyer credits be handled now?
In this free, CLE-approved webinar, gain the expertise you need to better understand the 2010 GFE and HUD-1, and protect your clients from rule violations. Learn about the changes that have been made to the forms and how they impact borrowers and others involved in a real estate transaction. Plus, interact with leading experts who can answer your specific questions about the new GFE and HUD-1.
This webinar is designed for attorneys, paralegals, lenders and all others who want to better understand the new GFE and HUD-1, and help their clients take full advantage of the benefits offered by these new forms.
